Frequently Asked Questions
Spring Bank Camp runs over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend every year. This year, the camp will start on 23/05/2025 (groups are allowed onto site from 18:00) and will close on 26/05/2025 (official close is at 14:00, but please check with your own group as to their departure arrangements).
Spring Bank Camp is open to members of The Scout Association or Girl Guiding UK, starting with the Cub and Brownie sections respectively..
Numbers can be increased until 1st May or until the camp is full. Numbers can be reduced until 1st May. After this, there will be no reduction in fees for your booking. Numbers can be changed by contacting Campers Admin.
The ratio of 1 leader for every 5 campers is to enable as many young people as possible to enjoy the camp. Groups requiring additional leaders to accommodate specific additional requirements of campers should contact Campers Admin.
Additional adults can also come along as staff members and camp with the unit so they are around to help during meal times and evenings when the young people are not off site enjoying the activities..
The individual camping pitches are only allocated during the week before camp. We can therefore only let you know where you will be camping on the day you arrive at camp.
